The 4-Year Family Legacy Project.
An archival cinematic experience documenting your family’s evolution across a full chapter of life.
Are you ready to be intentional about what you hold onto - and what you don’t let slip away?
"Digital photos are buried in clouds. Memories fade at the edges. True legacy requires continuity. We don't just film a moment; we archive a generation. We are looking for families who believe their story is their most valuable asset."
The Service Opening.
To mark the opening of our new service, we are selecting one family to receive the full 4-year experience (a $20,000 commission) as a gifted launch project.
Following this selection
We will open 8 additional spots for our 2026 Founding Cohort. These families will secure their place in our production calendar for the next 48 months.
We’re Beth and Ryan Moller, a husband-and-wife filmmaking and photography team specialising in long-form family storytelling.
With formal training in screen and media, photography, and over eight years of combined experience working closely with children and families, our work sits at the intersection of craft, care, and meaning.
We don’t document moments as isolated events.
We follow families over time - capturing voice, movement, connection, and the subtle changes that are often only noticed in hindsight.
Our process blends cinematic film with natural, lifestyle photography, so the story isn’t just felt in motion - but held in stillness too.
The Science of Narrative Longevity
The Three-Pillar Methodology For Generational Storytelling
Our approach isn't just creative—it’s a methodology built on the Moller Framework for Narrative Longevity. We’ve synthesized three pillars of research to ensure your family’s story doesn't just exist, but endures.
1. The Narrative Identity Pillar
Research in Narrative Psychology (McAdams, 2001)
Research in Narrative Psychology (McAdams, 2001) reveals that we find meaning not in isolated moments, but in the stories we tell about them. By consciously organizing your experiences into a cohesive narrative, you aren’t just "filming life"—you are building emotional clarity and long-term life satisfaction. How you choose to remember today directly shapes how meaningful your life feels tomorrow.
2. The Multi-Sensory Imprint
Research in Neuroscience of Autobiographical Memory (Rubin & Kozin, 1984)
While a photo captures a silhouette, neuroscience (Rubin & Kozin, 1984) confirms that the combination of voice, movement, and sound activates deeper emotional pathways in the brain. We use this "Multi-Sensory Imprint" to prevent memories from quietly fading. By preserving the specific cadence of a voice and the way a person moves, we ensure the memory remains vivid and "living" for decades..
Research in Intergenerational solidarity and family legacy Journal of Marriage and Family (V. L. 2010)
3. Intergenerational Continuity
Studies in Family Systems (Bengtson, 2010) show that families who intentionally preserve their lived experiences enjoy stronger emotional bonds and a deeper sense of belonging. Our process is designed to bridge the gap between generations, ensuring your children don't just know about you, but truly feel your presence. What is remembered becomes the legacy that carries them forward.

The Archive Architecture
A 48-month creative commission designed to withstand time.
I. The Annual Cinematic Chapters
Once per year, we produce a flagship cinematic film documenting your family’s current season. These are standalone masterpieces - preserving the voices, the laughter, and the specific dynamics of your family at that exact moment in time.
II. The "Growth" Feature Film
Upon completion of the fourth year, we master a final, feature-length legacy film. This is the centrepiece of the project: a seamless, chronological narrative showing the breathtaking evolution of your children and your family across a full chapter of life.
III. The Heirloom Volume (Physical Album)
Technology changes, but touch remains. At the conclusion of the project, you receive a bespoke, hand-bound Legacy Album. This isn't a standard photo book; it is a curated collection of the most poignant "stills" captured over the four-year journey - a physical record of growth you can hold in your hands.
IV. The Curated Gallery (Annual Prints)
Each year, we select and master a collection of museum-grade prints. These are delivered as physical art, ready to be displayed in your home immediately.
V. The Archival Vault
Your entire 4-year collection - the four annual chapters and the final feature film - is delivered on a personalized, secure hardware vault. We master your films to the highest archival standards, ensuring they are playable for your grandchildren and beyond.
VI. Exclusive Access: Legacy Touchpoints
As a member of the cohort, you receive priority invitations to our seasonal "Pop-Up Mini-Sessions." These are exclusive, short-form opportunities to capture milestones (think.. mother’s day, day at the beach or park) that fall between your annual flagship films.
