Terms of Service: The Private Commission
1. Selection & Partnership
A Private Commission is a collaborative artistic partnership. Placements are strictly limited to two per month to ensure the creative depth required for high-art production.
The Intake Process: Selection is finalized only after the successful completion of an Introduction Consultation and the settlement of the $1,600 investment.
Capacity: Once the two monthly placements are secured, the intake window closes.
2. The Production Roadmap
By entering into this agreement, the client acknowledges the following production sequence:
Phase 01: Introduction Consultation (Vetting and alignment).
Phase 02: Settlement of Investment (Securing the placement).
Phase 03: Vision Consultation (Bespoke mood-boarding and scheduling).
Phase 04: The 4-Hour Immersion (The production).
Scheduling: To accommodate elite training cycles, specific dates and times are finalized during the Vision Consultation after payment is received.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Because a commission secures a significant block of the artist’s calendar and production resources, the following policies apply:
Cancellations: If you cancel your commission more than 14 days before the scheduled session, a 50% refund will be issued. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable.
Rescheduling: One reschedule is permitted due to illness or emergency, provided at least 48 hours' notice is given. A $150 Rebooking Fee applies to cover lost studio hire costs and administrative time.
No-Shows: Failure to attend the scheduled immersion results in total forfeiture of the commission and investment.
4. Logistics & Studio Environment
Venue: To ensure total control over lighting and atmosphere, commissions are conducted in professional studio environments. Moller Dance handles all studio logistics and hiring fees at no additional cost to the client.
Punctuality: The 4-hour immersion begins at the agreed-upon time. Late arrivals will result in a shortened production window to protect the artist’s post-production schedule.
5. Creative Curation & Artistic Revisions
Collaborative Selection: The dancer and parent will assist in shortlisting preferred looks and movements during the studio immersion. Dancers are responsible for their own technical execution. Moller Portrait provides the cinematic environment and real-time visual feedback to facilitate the dancer's self-correction.
The Curator Model: The final selection and artistic finishing of the 18 Cinematic Masters are at the sole discretion of the artist.
Revisions: The commission includes up to three (3) specific retouching revisions. Moller Portrait reserves the right to decline revision requests that compromise the "Moller Aesthetic" or the artistic integrity of the work.
6. Licensing & Usage Rights
Personal Use: Images are provided with a license for Personal Use and Professional Auditioning (including portfolio websites, social media, and agency submissions). If the dancers dance studio is not a partner studio the images are not approved to be shared with them unless written consent to the studio from Moller Portrait.
Third-Party Restrictions: Usage for commercial resale or distribution to third-party entities (e.g., dancewear brands, commercial publications, or sponsors) is strictly prohibited without a separate commercial licensing agreement. Moller Portrait retains the copyright to all imagery.
