Terms of Service: The Private Commission
1. Service Model
The Home Refresh Trial is a structured maintenance service consisting of two scheduled visits within a 30-day period.
This service is maintenance-level only and does not include restoration, deep cleaning, or decluttering services.
2. Scope of Service
Included:
Bathrooms:
• Toilet interior and exterior
• Basin and tapware
• Shower screen surface clean
Kitchen:
• Benchtops wiped (clear surfaces only)
• Stovetop surface clean
• Sink and tapware
Floors:
• Hard floor vacuum
• Hard floor steam mop
Only the above areas are included.
3. Exclusions
The following are not included:
• Dishwashing or unloading dishwashers
• Clearing, organising, or moving personal belongings
• Decluttering surfaces
• Internal oven cleaning
• Internal fridge cleaning
• Internal cupboards or drawers
• Window cleaning
• Wall washing
• Carpet steam cleaning
• Laundry services
• Exterior cleaning
• Mould remediation
• Biohazard or hazardous material cleaning
• Heavy grime restoration
Surfaces must be reasonably clear and accessible at time of service.
Areas not accessible will be skipped.
4. Access Requirement
A secure lockbox will be provided and installed as a condition of service.
Clients must ensure key access is available for scheduled visits.
If access is unavailable at the scheduled time, the visit may be forfeited.
5. Suitability & Initial Condition
This service is designed for homes that are generally maintained.
If a property requires substantial initial restoration, the application may be declined or a separate initial clean may be required prior to commencement.
6. Scheduling & Rescheduling
Service dates are confirmed in advance.
Minimum 48 hours’ notice is required for rescheduling.
Late cancellations may incur the full service fee.
7. Payment Terms
Payment is required prior to commencement of the first visit.
Ongoing maintenance plans (if applicable) are billed in advance according to agreed schedule.
8. Liability & Insurance
Public liability insurance is maintained.
Any concerns regarding service quality or damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
Liability is limited to direct loss or damage caused during service provision.
9. Intake & Commencement
Service commencement is contingent upon minimum intake thresholds being met.
Accepted applicants will be notified of confirmed start dates once intake is finalised.
10. Agreement
By proceeding with booking, clients acknowledge they have read and agree to these Service Terms.
