What Happens Next?

The Legacy Project is a deliberate, considered process. Here is exactly how it unfolds.

We review your application personally

1

Beth and Ryan read every application together. We're looking for families whose story aligns with where we are in our production calendar and whose values match the long-term nature of this project.

A personal call - not a sales call. A conversation to understand your family, your motivations, and whether the next four years feel like the right time for this. We'll answer every question you have.

We call you within 48 hours

2

Selection is confirmed

3

If we're a mutual fit, we confirm your place in the 2026 Founding Cohort. Your position is secured by the first payment. We offer a staged payment plan for the annual investment - this is always discussed on the call.

Onboarding & first session planning

4

Once confirmed, we begin the onboarding process - understanding your family's rhythms, the environments that matter to you, the stories you most want preserved. Your first annual session is planned together.

Year one begins

5

Your first cinematic chapter is filmed, edited, and delivered. The Heirloom Album and Gallery Prints follow. And then - we do it again next year, and the year after, watching your family change across four documented seasons.

Between now and our call, consider these three questions:

  1. What specific moment or season of your family's life do you most want the first chapter to capture? Not a concept - a specific thing happening right now that you know is temporary.

  2. Who in your family - beyond your immediate household - do you most want included across these four years? Grandparents, siblings, extended family. The Legacy Project can document relationships, not just a household.

  3. When you imagine watching the final feature film - the one that combines all four years - who do you most want to watch it with, and when?

Questions about the Legacy Project

  • Our eight Founding Cohort families secure the full four-year project at a rate below our standard investment, held for the life of the commission. The exact figure is discussed on the call - we don't publish it publicly because it's specific to each family's project scope.

  • Life changes - it's one of the reasons we do this work. If your family grows, moves, or changes in any significant way during the project, we adapt. The story becomes richer, not more complicated.

  • Yes. We work around environments that are meaningful to your family - your home, significant places, seasonal locations. The annual session planning conversation happens well in advance so we can capture the right season at the right time.

  • Many families begin with a single Day in the Life session ($1,295) before applying for the Legacy Project - it gives you a felt experience of working with us before a four-year commitment. If you'd like to do this first, let us know on the call and we'll arrange it.

  • Only with your explicit written consent. Legacy Project clients are given full control over this. Some families want their story shared - it becomes part of how other families find us. Others prefer complete privacy. Both are equally valid and both are accommodated. This is discussed and documented at the start of the project.

  • Eight. Once those eight places are filled, the 2026 Founding Cohort is closed. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received - there is no waitlist.

  • We are based in the Illawarra and the majority of our work is here. We do consider Legacy Project applications from families further afield on a case-by-case basis, travel and logistics are factored into the project scope. Mention your location on our call.

"We don't just film a moment. We archive a generation."

Thank you for trusting us with your family's story.

We look forward to speaking with you.
